Yoga Teacher Training
Rebel Hearts 2024 220hr Trauma Sensitive Yoga Teacher Training Program hosted by North Mass Boulder
This YTT takes a functional and neurobiological approach to anatomy and alignment. This approach is expansive and honors the unique needs of every practitioners’ body. We will concentrate on identifying with and relating to the primary stabilizing muscles of the body, observing our own idiosyncratic tendencies and being able to identify maladaptive movement patterns in our students. Yoga is a vast and endless ocean of wisdom and the team at Rebel Hearts will be honored to walk beside you as you take your first steps into the water. This training is equivalent to a 300hr Yoga Alliance affiliated training.

Alexa’s yoga education began in Chicago at the ripe age of nineteen when she completed her 200hr training with CorePower Yoga. After several years of honing her skills, she trained under founder Nikki Meyers in the revolutionary program Yoga for Twelve Step Recovery. In 2020, in response to the ongoing global trauma that was the covid 19 pandemic, she completed a 75hr Trauma Informed Facilitation course with The Bodywise Foundation. In 2021, she completed her 500hr training with Adi Shakti of SoulWork, and then finally in 2022 Alexa returned to what had been her first love, Kundalini Yoga. She trained with her teacher of ten years, Karampal Kaur at Sat Nam Yoga Chicago to complete a 200hr level 1 program.
Nearly a thousand hours of training later, Alexa grows more deeply in love with the simple magic of yoga everyday.
